Snow Day Assignments Week of Feb. 22

With the possibility of another snow storm coming Monday- I want to go ahead and send home next week's assignments just in case.

It's VERY IMPORTANT to bring this work back in if we do have school as we will be doing it here in class.

READING:

We started reading Stone Fox on Friday. So I'd like you to continue that.

You've been given a packet full of questions and activites.

Monday: Read Chapter 3 & 4 and do the questions

Tuesday: Read Chapter 5 &6 and do the questions

Wednesday: Read Chapter 7 & 8 and do the questions

Thursday: Read Chapter 9 & 10 and do the questions

Friday: Do the Stone Fox Review Page and true or false page

Language: Writing Assessment Prep

You are to write a narrative essay. Remember to use transition words, good choice words, complete paragraphs and sentences, and capitalization.

You will be given the prompt and a writing guideline to follow in a packet.

Please have the finalized essay back to school on Friday.

Math: Division

This is a hard one because you really need to be at school so I can show you the steps. Hopefully mom or dad, or even a sibling can help you out.

Tuesday: PAGE 282-284 Questions 2-25 This one has remainders

Wednesday: continue page 284 Questions 26-52

Thursday: Worksheet page 21

Friday: Worksheet page 95

SCIENCE: Finish Chapter 10- Start Physical Science Unit

We really need to move on so we finish everything this year- so we will not have an actual test for Ch. 10. But the Chapter Review w/s will be counted as a test.

Monday: Do the Chapter 10 review W/S

Tuesday: Start Ch. 11- Read Lesson 1 and do checkpoint questions

Wednesday: Lesson 2 and questions

Thursday: Lesson 3 and questions

Friday: Lesson 4 and questions
