4th grade will take the Online Writing Assessment Wednesday afternoon.

Math: Geometry 2-2.5 Weeks
We have line segments, rays, angles, symmetry, area and perimeter, solids and more to cover. This is going to be quick but we may have a few more days to add if we need them.
We might have to double up on math as well to get all these concepts in, which means a little in the morning too.
There is a good chance there will be extra homework in these two weeks. Please make sure you do it if given!

SS: Geography Centers Unit
We will be spending about 1-2 weeks learning about Geography including maps, mystery countries, landforms,bodies of water and time zones. I will have these things in different centers for them to rotate around and do some activities. There really isn't something to send home for them to do as we will be doing activities in the classroom.
We have a few more we didn't get to do last week, so this week we will finish up!
Also:
We did our catapult on Friday and Sammie and David's marshmallow went the furthest. On Thursday, Ryan's was going the furthest though, but I think he launched his too many times on Thursday.LOL
